How confident are you in all areas of your life? The quiet confidence that guides you, an inner knowing, inner validation that comes from knowing yourself and your abilities. Confidence is the ripple effect you create, the quiet unassuming leader within.
When you have high confidence levels, others may perceive you as credible, believable and infectious, if we are overly confident, we may be perceived as righteous, a know it all or arrogant. When we have low confidence levels, others tend to doubt us, not believe in our capabilities and perhaps not trust us.
Balancing our confidence is really knowing who and what we are without effort, without trying so hard to be anyone else.
What confidence really is.
Giving yourself full permission to be you. Allowing your inner self to lead you.
Confidence in your abilities, confidence in your relationships, confidence stating your boundaries, confidence to stand up and allow your truth to shine. Confidence is an intelligence about you, an energy within that radiates from the inside out, the self assurance that enables us to be resilient, act with conviction and without doubt or apology of who and what you are - it’s the ripple effect we create that emulates and reaches more people that we truly know. Not to be confused with arrogance, confidence is the quiet unassuming leader within you.
How confident are you on a scale of 1 - 10?
10 being very confident.
1 being not very confident.
When you have high confidence levels (8-10), others may perceive you as credible, believable and infectious, if we are overly confident (10+++), we may be perceived as righteous, a know it all or arrogant.
When we have low confidence levels (1-3), others tend to doubt us, not believe in our capabilities and perhaps not fully trust in our abilities. Balancing our confidence is really knowing who we are, accepting and being ourselves, without effort, without trying hard to be anyone else other than ourselves.
Naturally we like to show confidence in situations such as when we are public speaking, leading others, parenting, teaching or trying to get other(s) to like or subscribe to what we want them to buy in to, there are many situations I am sure you can recall and think of a time from the past where you had to show up with confidence yet didn’t feel confident. We often become confident at masking. Despite how we FEEL we ACT with confidence. When we mask we often exaggerate our energy negatively or positively. We either feel drained or experience an adrenaline rush or high.
When we build natural confidence, we can shift and pivot between situations effortlessly and easily without over preparing (masking) or experience of high and low energy.
